Serve if elected

No person from any party, in any elected position, should be allowed to use that position to run for another office until they have fulfilled the obligations of the office to which they were elected.

It’s appalling that they can use their time running all over the country campaigning instead of doing the job they were supposed to be doing.

Personally, I want my tax money that pays any such official’s salary refunded.

It is a waste of our tax dollars for that person to be collecting a salary for a job that he or she isn’t doing. During last week’s debate Sen. Marco Rubio admitted that he was focusing on the White House and didn’t have the best attendance record.

He’s not the only one to use one office to run for another. It needs to stop.
