Anti-Semitism endures

In the Sept. 2 letter I’d hoped we were through with anti-Semitism, Steven Goldberg doesn’t understand why anti-Semitism didn’t end with the Holocaust. The reason is that it didn’t begin with the Holocaust. He should understand that our history is replete — from the Romans, the Spanish Inquisition, crusades, the Dreyfus Affair — with anti-Semitism.

I would like to go to Paris and visit the great museums, but because of the recent murders of innocent Jews, bombing of synagogues and the government’s boycotting of Israeli products, I think instead I’ll join my people and go to Israel.
