Marlins Park’s pros and cons

I recently made my second visit to Marlins Park since its opening for Tuesday’s game against the New York Mets. Here are some observations:

• Giancarlo Stanton is a great talent. Too bad they will never be able to keep him in Miami.

• The stadium is absolutely beautiful. Too bad there were only about 3,000 people there.

• It’s too bad the taxpayers of Miami are stuck with paying for this monstrosity that never should have been built with public money.

The good news: I live in Broward.
