In a couple of months we’ve got the opportunity to elect a new county commissioner in District 8. My choice is Daniella Levine Cava. She has a record of integrity and results.
I’ve known her for 30 years and have been impressed with the heart and substance of her career. In 1996, she started Catalyst Miami, a not-for-profit organization that worked to improve the lives of the middle and lower-class families.
By building a coalition of private business and public government officials, she created programs that provided jobs, skills, and healthcare to people who needed them.
As she campaigns, I see a woman who truly cares about and is excited to get the opportunity to address the issues we all care about.
