Griffin’s bad joke

To those who support Kathy Griffin, whether the “severed” Donald Trump head was an issue of freedom of artistic expression or freedom of speech, what about the issue of common decency?

I think the outrage for most of us is that many people have been killed in this horrific way by ISIS. What about the families of Daniel Pearl, Jim Foley and Steven Sotloff?

It is sad and disgusting that the hatred of our president overshadows their compassion for these families. My sympathies go to journalists and their families for having to live these atrocities over and over again. I am ashamed of the lack of decency and compassion among our fellow Americans.

Linda Solomon,

Hollywood
