While visiting Great Britain, my husband and I met a British couple who visit the United States regularly. In February they visited Florida and said they will never come here again. Not only it was very costly, but also the locals they met were rude.
On Sunday, we came back home, landing at Miami International Airport. After a 10-hour flight, we had to walk for what seemed like an hour to reach the terminal exit. You know it’s a long walk when your bags are out of the carousel and waiting for you!
If that weren’t enough, I was nearly hit by a personnel shuttle as it sped around a blind corner. The young driver laughed at seeing the startled expression on my face.
What sort of welcome is that? By contrast, the people and the services provided overseas were first class, as well as courteous and kind.
