Most Americans find the use of chemical weapons on the battlefield unacceptable. Over the last hundred years, nations have agreed to limit or end the use of such weapons.
The United States was a signatory to these agreements.
Yet we still use napalm. Evidently, we find that burning a man to a crisp is more humane than poison gas. I doubt that.
In the final analysis, all is fair in love and war.
