Diving birds

The male boat-tailed grackle will dive at a passersby to protect his nesting tree, but with a twist. He only goes for you if you are wearing yellow or red. Wear a blue shirt, and he ignores you.

Unlike the mockingbird, he doesn’t go for the head. He comes from behind, at shoulder-level, and brushes his wingtip against the outside of your arm.
