Symbolic death

Fidel Castro’s death is symbolic. With him, dies the predominant relic of a failed system that has cost thousands their businesses, separated families and led to senseless killings.

The lack of people presently on the streets of Cuba shows the oppression that remains, but today marks the fall of a voice for authoritarianism.

Long live freedom of expression, free and fair elections, and free enterprise!

Viva libertad!
