Leonard Cohen was a great singer-songwriter. He wrote scores of songs in which he addressed, in language that was spare and often oblique, themes of religion and love, depression and suicide, politics and war. Some of his songs included Hallelujah, Suzanne and Bird on a Wire.
He was also a poet, novelist and aspiring Zen monk. We will remember Leonard Cohen as a great singer-songwriter always and forever.
