Sunny, windy and warm; watch out for rip currents

Get ready for another bad hair day, as the winds are expected to gust up to 25 mph, particularly near the shoreline.

As previously noted, those winds also are generating dangerous rip currents at all South Florida beaches, so be sure to heed warning flags.

The winds and rip currents are forecast to continue through Sunday.

Again, the reason it's so breezy is because of dueling high- and low-pressure systems to our north and south, respectively.

Wednesday's forecast also calls for mostly sunny skies, highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 70s.

Although the rainy season started last week, the chance of showers and storms today is small.

However, the rain chance increases on Thursday.
