The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office released a video to their YouTube page showing the moment when a suspect rams his vehicle at a motorcyclist during a road rage incident.

Despite having no audio, the dashcam footage shows a disturbing case of road rage.

It happened Sunday evening in Sarasota County, reports News Channel 8.

In the initial seconds, viewers see traffic flowing on a two-lane road.

A small car is moving in the left lane, a trailer to its right. Suddenly a motorcycle appears in front of the trailer, weaving into the left lane.

It appears the motorcyclist exchanges words with someone in the gray car. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office describes it as a Mazda 3 hatchback.

A witness told the TV station that the driver of the Mazda threw change at the motorcyclist, identified as Darin Hendrickson.

The biker makes some kind of disparaging arm movement, and swerves toward the car, which then violently turns right into the biker, sending Hendrickson into the road.

The biker, dressed in all black and a helmet, quickly pops up, agitated. He is reportedly still recovering from his injuries. Fox 13 reports the victim has severe road rash, staples in his leg and damage to his ribs and lungs.

Anyone who has information about who was driving the Mazda is urged to call 941-861-4317. Deputies are calling it an aggravated battery investigation.
