A paddleboard jaunt in Jupiter turned to social media gold at the turn of a flipper.

Celine Chasteen and a friend told WPTV that a pair of manatees joined the girls on their trip. They rolled on their backs and frolicked around the boards. At one point, a sea cow rested its flippers on a board, a move the girls caught on camera.

It was “the craziest thing ever,” Chasteen told the station.

Although manatees were recently taken off the endangered species list, the Florida native species is still classified as “threatened.” Touching, playing with or interfering with the peaceful creatures is illegal.
