In the search for help in finding the two people who robbed a Palm Beach County letter carrier, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service announced a reward that tops out at $50,000.

USPIS says the robbery occurred at 2:48 p.m. May 26 on Ainsworth Circle in the village of Palm Springs. The letter carrier got pepper-sprayed and assaulted. The criminals escaped in a late model silver Buick.

One of the robbers is described as a black male, around 5-foot-10, who wore a black hat, purple T-shirt, black pants and a stud earring in his left ear.

Anyone with information on this can call the Postal Inspection Service at 877-876-2455, pick Option 2 and ask for Postal Inspector Wisneski.
