Early voting in Florida primary election ends Sunday

Early voting in Miami-Dade and Broward ends on Sunday.

Voters can cast their ballots at any of the open precincts in the county where they are registered. Hours vary from day to day.

Don’t want to go to the polls at all? As of Friday, more than 390,000 absentee ballots had been mailed out by South Florida’s elections departments, and 77,860 had been returned. Voters have until Aug. 24 to request absentee ballots, which must be received by 7 p.m. in order to count.
