Venezuela through the eyes of exiles

For nearly a month, tens of thousands of Venezuelans have been protesting against food shortages, crime, inflation and other maladies. More than 20 have been killed and hundreds injured, but the fight on the streets of that nation rages on.

The conflict in Venezuela continues to draw support from around the world, but the cries for change resonate the loudest in the hearts of Venezuelan exiles. Rallies attended by thousands have been popping up around South Florida -- home to the largest Venezuelan exile community -- sending a loud message back home: You are not alone.
