A seminar on the future of U.S. policy on Latin America

The Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University in Washington hosted a panel March 25 on the possible directions that U.S. policy toward Latin America might take after the Bush administration.

The participants were Mark Weisbrot of the Washington-based Center for Economic and Policy Research; Greg Craig, a foreign policy advisor to Sen. Barack Obama; Nora Lustig, a visiting Professor at the Elliot School; and, Mark Schneider, Senior Vice President and Special Advisor on Latin America at the International Crisis Group.
