Rain is expected in South Florida on Tuesday and then again on Wednesday night.
Rain is expected in South Florida on Tuesday and then again on Wednesday night.

The tornadoes are gone. The chill is gone.

So how’s the weather looking this week in South Florida?

"A roller-coaster," said CBS4 meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez.

If you dread Mondays, don’t dread this one. Forecasters say the start of the workweek will be mostly sunny with a high of 77 and a low of 70.

Enjoy those 24 hours because on Tuesday, the forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of rain. Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny and breezy with a high of 80 before the rains return that night.

And after that rain?

A cool Thursday night, with lows in the mid-50s, and an even cooler Friday night with a low of about 50. The cool nights are expected to stretch through next weekend.
