A Florida man complaining of a painful tooth blamed an "accidental discharge of saliva" after being accused of spitting in a doctor's face. The incident happened in a hospital in Niceville, according to nwfdaily.com.
A doctor said that Maurice Joseph Caillouet entered the hospital with tooth pain but started cursing when he didn’t get any drugs and spat in the doctor’s face, the report said.
Despite his “discharge” excuse, Caillouet, 50, was charged last month with battery on a police officer. His bond was set at $2,000, according to Okaloosa County Corrections.
