Talk about a domino effect.
Shelf after shelf at a Boca Raton-area Party City store collapsed on each other Tuesday, sending colorful candy and other goodies all over the place.
The cascading shelves slightly injured three people at the store at Palmetto Park and Powerline roads, according to the Palm Beach Post.
Firefighters combed under the fallen shelves looking for buried customers or employees. They didn’t find anyone.
Investigators aren’t sure what caused the collapse, WPTV reported.
“We're looking into the situation to pinpoint the exact cause, and the store remains closed at this time," the company said in a statement.
