Deputies are searching for an aggravated battery suspect after a husband was angered to find a visitor with his wife, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Just after midnight Wednesday, 38-year-old Lucio Sanchez-Arcos found a 26-year-old man with his wife at a mobile home, according to the report.

Deputies reported Sanchez-Arcos grabbed a wooden baseball bat and hit the man several times before fleeing in his vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he’s listed in serious but stable condition.
