A son tried to electrocute his father by pressing two black wires to the elderly man’s chest after a dispute over a will, according to news-journalonline.
John Knudsen, 44, was charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault on an elderly disabled person in the attack on 81-year-old namesake John Knudsen, according to Volusia County Corrections records.
The attempted electrocution happened on Thanksgiving morning in Ormond Beach after an argument over the older man’s will. After the wires were pressed to his chest, the elder Knudsen grabbed his gun and sneaked out of the house to report the incident at the Ormond Beach Police Department.
