Warm weather this weekend will be followed by a cold front just in time for the last day of Hanukkah and Christmas Eve.
Friday through Sunday, mostly sunny skies and temperatures from 78 to 80 degrees will keep things hot in the day but cool at night when it will drop down into the 60s.
After getting hottest Sunday afternoon, the week will start with a slight chance of rain.
The rain will likely turn to thunderstorm just ahead of the front, which will roll in overnight Tuesday, the National Weather Service forecasts.
