MANATEE -- Bradenton triple-murder suspect Andres "Andy" Avalos, suspected in the deaths Thursday of his wife and two other people, was arrested Saturday afternoon, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Avalos, 33, had been on the run since authorities discovered the bodies of his wife, Amber; and a neighbor, Denise Potter, at the Avaloses' home in Northwest Bradenton. Also Thursday afternoon, investigators said Avalos killed James "Tripp" Battle, at Bayshore Baptist Church, 6502 14th St. W.

On Saturday, deputies arrested Avalos at the Pine Haven Mobile Home Park, 6320 14th St. W., which is about two blocks from the church.
