An alligator hunter with a tagged catch next to his boat got bit by his pray after the man tumbled out of his boat at a Volusia County campground.
Kemp Galleneau fell overboard and the gator chomped him on the left calf at 10 a.m. Sunday, according to wftv.com.
“He is lucky, real lucky that gator didn’t roll with him and rip that leg off,” said George Pravatt, another alligator hunter.
Deputies tended to Galleneau’s bleeding wound at the campground and he was taken to a hospital in DeLand, where he was treated and released, according to the report.
