After defeating Florida International University, 3-2, last Sunday, the Southern Miss women’s volleyball team ate dinner in Miami Springs — and thieves ransacked their vehicle.
The side window in the 2014 Dodge Caravan belonging to sophomore Makareta Rademakers was smashed, and "all the doors to the vehicle were unlocked," according to the 21-page police report, which lists 10 victims.
The stolen property included the students' athletic gear and uniforms, backpacks, numerous Apple computers, Beats headphones, college textbooks, gift cards, jewelry, make up and cash. The property was valued at $23,307.
