Miami International Airport will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise between 8:30 and 11 Thursday morning.
The Environmental Emergency Response Drill is run annually by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. Officials will be practicing next to the airport parking toll plaza across from the South Terminal.
Authorities say those passing by the airport shouldn’t be alarmed at the site of emergency-response vehicles in the airport area.
