Metromover is back on track.
The light rail system, which circles downtown Miami and stretches from the performing arts district to Brickell, was shut down Wednesday morning because of power problems.
The trains were up and running again at 1:30 p.m.
Miami-Dade Transit ran free shuttle buses between the stations while the trains were offline.
During the outage, mechanics replaced cables that were damaged when the power went out Tuesday night, said Miami-Dade Transit spokeswoman Irene Ferradaz.
“Tough morning for all of us,” officials tweeted on the Miami-Dade Transit account.
Metrorail, the heavy rail system that travels from Northwest Miami-Dade to the airport to Kendall, was not affected.
