Two workers were injured Friday after a support beam being hoisted gave way and fell at the Brickell City Centre construction site, Miami Fire officials told CBS4.
One of the workers, who was on the second floor, was injured while trying to get out of the way of the falling beam.
The other worker got hurt when his safety line was snagged by the beam.
Fire crews rushed the two to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
