A Florida man is accused of trying to strangle a physician assistant with a stethoscope after being told a doctor wasn’t available to handle a complaint about pain medication.
John Connolly of Englewood was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to heraldtribune.com.
Connolly was visiting the Sarasota Family Medical Walk-In Clinicon Monday and began cursing when told the doctor wasn’t available. He left, returned and then began choking the assistant with the stethoscope hanging around his neck, according to the Sarasota Sheriff’s Office.
