Man critical after early morning shooting in Southwest Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade police are looking for a black, four-door Honda that may have been involved in an early morning shooting Thursday that left a Southwest Miami-Dade man fighting for his life.

Police arrived at 22210 SW 116th Ave. at 1 a.m. after receiving a call that shots had been fired there. They found Dwayne Labon, 31, with a bullet wound to the stomach. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took Labon to the hospital, where he remained in critical condition Thursday evening.

Witnesses told detectives that they saw a black Honda fleeing the area shortly after the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
