Father dead after early hours shooting in Coconut Grove

A father was shot dead early Monday’s in Miami’s Coconut Grove area, police said.

Monday afternoon, Miami police identified the man as 37-year-old Dwight Dupuch, a father of two sons.

Miami police said the shooting happened around 1:06 a.m. and Miami Fire Rescue declared Dupuch dead on the scene at 3344 SW 37th Ave., the Shop Right Meat Market, about a half mile from a home his mother has owned since 1974.
