A man and a woman clashed in Boynton Beach over drugs. She wanted to get high, he told Palm Beach deputies. He was two years clean and told her he was not interested.
But when she did so, anyway, she overlooked one thing, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office report: She left her 9-month-old child alone in a swing in the bedroom while she shot up with heroin in the bathroom, deputies say.
On Tuesday, they charged Olivia Devore, 23, with two counts of child neglect without great bodily harm. She is being held at West Detention Center with no bail.
According to the Palm Beach Post, the unidentified man and Devore began arguing Tuesday morning when she allegedly said she wanted to get high. The man said he was "disappointed" in her and left the home for about a half hour.

When he returned, he said he found Devore unresponsive on the master bedroom floor with blue lips and called 911, WPTV reported. The baby was crying in the swing.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue revived Devore with Narcan. Officials say she told the paramedics she'd taken heroin. A deputy saw syringes, a clear baggie and a metal spoon nearby.
