The Miami-Dade Police Department is asking the publics' help in identifying a group of men who are accused of car jacking a woman in North Miami-Dade county on Oct. 2, 2017.

A woman was walking through the parking lot of her Northeast Miami-Dade apartment complex when she was approached by two men, one of whom pulled out a gun and demanded the keys to her car, according to Miami-Dade police.

The woman handed over her keys, police said. The two men, along with two other men, managed to get away in her SUV.

On Monday, police released surveillance video of the incident, which happened just before 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at Carmel Lakes Apartments, 20731 NE Fourth Place.

The video shows four men walking in the complex and then two of them approaching Padron, who was pushing a stroller.

Police said the two men left in Padron's SUV and were joined “by two additional subjects and they continued to flee in an unknown direction.”

The stolen SUV was later found abandoned nearby and returned to the woman , who was not injured.

Police are asking for help in identifying the men.

All four men are believed to be 18-24.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
