A man attacks another with a bat in Hialeah, Florida in an apparent road rage incident on Friday, June 9, 2017.

A dispute that began inside a Kendall Burger King ended in a shootout in the parking lot Tuesday afternoon, with one man injured.

Police said Daniel Rodriguez, 20, and Enrique Santana, 26, walked into the Burger King, located at 11595 SW 40th St., and “engaged in disorderly and disrespectful behavior.”

When Rodriguez and Santana left the restaurant, they confronted Jorge Rodriguez, 59, who was standing outside at Southwest 115th Avenue and Bird Road, police said.

Santana and Daniel Rodriguez went to their car and got guns, as did Jorge Rodriguez, police said. Shots were fired.

Police took all three men into custody, one with a laceration to his back. Jorge Rodriguez was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center and later released. Police weren’t sure if the man was shot or not.

The westbound lanes on Bird Road were closed.
