A 52-year-old man was arrested on Friday and more than 100 marijuana plants were seized during a raid on a warehouse storage facility at 1877 Opa-locka Blvd., police said.
Police were alerted to the situation through an anonymous Crimestopper report and obtained a warrant to search the storage rooms.
The man taken into custody was Eduardo Herrera Hernandez.
Police Chief James Dobson said the plants were distributed among four rooms.

“One room had the small plants,” Dobson said. “The next room had larger [plants]. The third room had up to about six-foot-high marijuana plants, and in the fourth room there were marijuana buds that were ready to be distributed out in the streets.”
He estimated the value of the seized pot plants at $250,000.
