A man chained himself to the tenth floor of a Miami crane for “political reasons,” but authorities brought him safely to the ground.
Once Miami Fire Rescue brought him down, 60-year-old Diego Tintorero was arrested and charged with trespassing.
Miami police were called to 729 NW 2nd St just after 2 p.m. They found Tintorero near the top of the crane. According to the arrest report, Tintorero said he climbed the crane to make a political statement.
A rescue worker climbed up and convinced him to return to the ground after 3 p.m.
