Annual arts and crafts festival set for February

The 32nd annual South Miami Rotary Art Festival is set for Saturday, Feb. 21 and Sunday, Feb. 22 on Sunset Drive from U.S. 1 to Red Road, adjacent to the Shops at Sunset Place.

The festival brings 25,000 visitors to the city over two days to the downtown area. Profits from the festival are used to fund an annual college scholarship for a South Miami student. Admission is free for the event, featuring 150 artists, a food court, beer garden, and live jazz. Saturday’s festivities take place between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., while Sunday runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Live jazz will be played onstage until 8 p.m. Saturday in the beer garden at 58th Avenue and Sunset Drive.
