A Delray Beach stock trader and analyst has been charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly hit a pedestrian Wednesday afternoon at Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 64th Street.
Police said Robert Sinn, 33, feel asleep at the wheel of his white Chevrolet Impala before his car hopped the curb and struck a pedestrian. Witnesses told police that Sinn got out of his car to look at the victim, and then sped away, police said.
On Tuesday, Sinn — who also blogs about trading — tweeted using his Twitter handle StockSage1, “Participating in markets with overwhelming emotions of fear & greed is akin to driving drunk - if this is u, hand the keys to someone else.”
The unidentified male pedestrian remains in Jackson Memorial Hospital. The accident tied up rush-hour traffic for hours.
