Suspect on stolen motorcycle takes police on a wild ride

A suspect on a stolen motorcycle took police in Medley on a wild ride Thursday night as they tried to capture him, but it didn't end until police say he stole another vehicle and crashed dozens of blocks away.

Police were on scene of the accident at Southwest Third Street and 30th Court in Miami, but the chase started in Medley. According to officials, they were looking for the suspect after he allegedly crashed a motorcycle he had stolen in the area of Northwest 74th Street and 72nd Avenue. Police say he bailed out on foot, and was then spotted by the main Metrorail depot. When he noticed he had been spotted, the suspect tried to jump the fence and ran into the depot, where he stole a s parked vehicle inside.

That's when the wild ride started. After chasing him into the city of Miami, police say he crashed and bailed out on foot at 373 SW 30th Ct.

The suspect's name has not been released.
