A high-voltage line snapped above a Miami Springs public parking lot this morning nearby residents and businesses without power.
No injuries were immediately reported from the hot wire that danced about the lot along the 100 block of Nahkoda Drive where many city visitors and police cruisers park.
“We are working to restoring power to 31 customers,” said Richard Gibbs, an FPL spokesperson.
As of this afternoon, traffic signals throughout the downtown area remained of service due to the power outage.
