Miami Gardens police have identified the two men who were murderedunderneath the Palmetto Expressway overpass Saturday afternoon.

Donald L. Armstrong III and Stephen L. Campbell, both 23 years old, were sitting in traffic when someone opened fire into the car in the area of Northwest 167th Street and Northwest 27th Avenue.

Both men were hit. Campbell died on the scene. Armstrong died at the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, police said.

Investigators are now asking for the public's help in finding their killer, who they describe as a black man in his 20s with a thin build, about 5-foot, 8-inches. He was wearing a tan or beige shirt and pants and was seen running north on Northwest 27th Avenue.

The shooting is one of five in Miami Gardens in less than a week. Eight people were shot and four have since died, officials said.
