Miami Beach Police are looking for a Miami-Dade man in connection with last week’s fatal shooting on Ocean Drive.

Antoinne Decade, 20, was shot in chest early Sunday morning in the 900 block on Ocean Drive following a fistfight. Police are interested in speaking with Christopher Huff about the shooting.

“Large spring break crowds were present when the event occurred,” said Ernesto Rodriguez, MBPD spokesman, in a statement. “Officers were in the immediate vicinity and responded to promptly render aid to the victim and seal off the crime scene.”

The crowds on Sunday mirrored the hectic Friday on South Beach, when the spring breakers got so rowdy police shut down parts of Ocean Drive that evening. Seven people were arrested.

Decade is mourned by friends and family on social media. The mother of his child posted an emotional status about her son’s future without a father.

“It’s going to be sooo hard to tell my smart ass son what’s going on because it’s going to hurt like hell when I tell him ‘daddy is not around anymore’...My pain is unbearable!” She wrote. “But everything has its reason and even though it’ll be hard I KNOW Twan will be here with US every step of the way because he was never the type to leave who he loves hanging!! I love and will miss him dearly and so will his TWIN!”

The GoFundMe she started to crowdfund money for their child — “Little Antoine” — has raised $320 in a week.
