Power and water service was restored early Thursday to an area of Miami Beach after a water main break.
The repairs were finished by 3 a.m., according to city spokesman Nannette Rodriguez.
A break in a Miami Beach water main left multiple high-rise towers in mid-Beach without power Wednesday night, city officials said.
The break happened around 9 p.m. on 67th Street and Collins Avenue. The Public Works Department worked with Miami Beach police and Florida Power & Light crews to fix the break.

Rodriguez said a single northbound lane on Collins was closed while crews tried to find the source of the problem. She said the work required the water to be shut down, causing an outage in at least five towers on the 6700 block of Collins.
