Police are investigating a shooting early Tuesday morning in Miami Beach that left one man in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At about 7:30 a.m. Miami Beach police received a call that a man was shot in the area of Harding Avenue and 74th Street, said Juan Sanchez, police spokesman.
Rescue crews took the man who was shot to Ryder Trauma Center in Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Police temporarily set up a perimeter blocking streets in the area as they investigated the shooting and searched for the suspect. All traffic resumed by 8 a.m.
