Police seek assistance finding missing woman with dementia

Miami Beach police are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who went missing from her assisted living facility on Friday.

A police announcement said Ana Moron, 61, may have wandered away from the facility at 7100 Rue Granville. A service worker discovered a front gate had been left open at around 3 p.m. on Friday after a pest-control company had fumigated the facility, a police report said.

The 5-foot-10-inch Moron was carrying no identification or money, walks with a limp, is missing her front teeth and has a mole near her left eye.

She was last seen wearing purple pants and a white shirt, and may have reading glasses.

The police ask that anyone with informaton call the Special Victims Unit at 305-673-7901.
