Miami Beach Senior High was briefly put on lockdown Thursday morning after the school received a threatening call.
The school, 2231 Prairie Ave., was locked down Thursday morning after 8 a.m., according to a tweet from police. It was lifted after 8:30 a.m.
A caller told the school there was someone at school threatening to harm himself and others, said Miami Dade Schools spokeswoman Daisy Gonzalez-Diego. Police didn’t find anything, but the school was shut down as a precaution.
