A Little Havana man was arrested Friday after he stabbed another man with a glass bottle.
The brawl between the men — which unraveled across several blocks — ended with the duo sustaining stab wounds to the chest, biceps and back, Miami police said, along with several injuries to the head.
On Saturday, police identified the aggressor in the fight as Zdenek V. Jelen. He was arrested on one count of aggravated battery after witnesses said he beat the victim with a metal rod and stabbed him with remnants of a glass bottle.
Officials said that the men had argued about a woman the night before and that they had seen each other at a convenience store on Southwest Sixth Street and 14th Avenue.

The brawl ultimately ended in a residential area just a few blocks away. Yellow crime tape also blocked off the entrance to a nearby Amscot, where a police officer stood near a bloody parking bumper and a red bag that was taken in as evidence.
Both men are in stable condition. Police did not identify the victim.
