A two-car crash Thursday morning left a Miami police officer conscious, but bleeding from a head wound, according to a law enforcement source.
The officer, who had been driving an unmarked police car, was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital from Southwest 22nd Avenue and Coral Way. No charges have been filed in the accident that saw no other injuries.
This crash comes exactly a month after two-car collision in Wynwood put Miami police officer Carlos Gomez in critical condition. Gomez had been racing to answer a call.
