The Miami Police Department realised surveillance video showing a pair of robbers entering a Dollar General in Miami with guns drawn. The pair stole a cell phone from a victim before fleeing.

Two armed robbers stormed a Flagami Dollar General and demanded money from two people inside, police said.

One robber managed to steal a cellphone from one victim, while the second robber pistol-whipped the other victim — but neither got any cash.

On Tuesday, Miami police released surveillance video of the June 5 incident at Dollar General, 5175 SW Eighth St., in hope of identifying the robbers.

One man is described as slim, weighing 130 to 140 pounds, and being about 5 feet 9 inches tall with medium-length dreads. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white shirt underneath and a black bandanna partially covering his face.

The second man is also described as slim, weighing 140 to 150 pounds, and being about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a beanie hat with Jamaican flag colors, and a black bandanna partially covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 305-603-6370 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
